Free Agency Hell
Last night, something appeared that hasn't loved since September of 1993: the Yankees were eliminated from post-season contention (there was no post-season in 1994, and the Yankees finished in ninth place, so there was no elimination). Both are strange since they are free agents, aren't part of the "spearheading" process and won't require shield compensation if signed. To catch some perspective of how striped ago that was, and to have a look back, here are some stats, twilight, people and culture from that time.
